Wellness at Rhythms For Living

Is wellness part of your daily rhythms for living?

Wellness, self care and balance have always been an important aspect of human life but it was never as important as it is now. Our society here in America and in other parts of the world has become so stressed and anxious, always trying to do more, have more, accomplish more, and acquire more. We find that we need to be doing something at all times. Rarely do we just sit and rest and breathe. Rarely do we just think and observe and feel. It is important for us to find a healthy balance between work and rest, between seeking information from technology and talking with other people, between entertainment on TV or the internet and playing and spending time with our friends and family, between texting someone and sitting down face to face over a cup of coffee.

There is a time for everything. There are seasons of life and changes that come. There is time for growth and a time for rest. How are you caring for yourself and your family and our future generations? Are you taking the time to nourish your body, mind, and soul?

Here are some ways we can improve our wellness:

  • Rest
  • Nature
  • Walks and hikes
  • Breathing
  • Yoga
  • Music for self-care
  • Art for self-care
  • Prayer and Meditation
  • Gratitude
  • Minimalism
  • Essential Oils
  • Healthy Food
