Rhythmsforliving.com was launched in 2009 and was the main source of information and resources for our music therapy and music education community in south Florida. Our private practice in Florida enjoyed a wonderful 6 years of community with many families and colleagues and many wonderful music therapists. When we closed the doors in 2015 I decided to keep the website as an online resource for parents, therapists and teachers, a way to engage with our community, and a platform for offering our eBooks for children.
Since 2015 life has brought many changes for me. I am now a mom of 2 adorable boys and have loved being home with them, watching them grow, encouraging their development, and engaging with them in play. I have also been on a journey of self care as I was diagnosed with Postpartum Depression this past year. I have learned so much on my journey and am passionate about engaging with others who are on similar journeys, and sharing what I’ve learned.
I have been prompted to continue the original dream of Rhythms For Living to have a wider reach with many more branches reaching a larger community. Our new focus is Nurturing Creativity and Wellness in families. We will not only continue discussing the powerful benefits of music but we will also venture into art, play, and wellness. We will help you find ways to incorporate these important aspects into your daily rhythms of life.
Most importantly we want to connect with you! My hope is that we will be able to engage more and hear from you on your journey. We are made to live in community and not to live in isolation. My passion is that we can join together to improve our lives, the lives of our children, and future generations.
